Corfu Holds a Winterfest Party January 25th, 2014

2014 Wintfest

This is Western Genesee County's premier winter celebration. It's in the Village of Corfu, 116 E. Main St., Corfu. Sponsored by GO ART! and NYSA.This free Winter Celebration is handicapped accessible and requires weather appropriate clothing and optional ice skates. This 6th annual event is co-sponsored by the Village of Corfu and the Town of Pembroke. Exhibits and entertainment are highlighting the area's crafters, artists, local food, small business entrepreneurs, musicians and non-profit fundraising. Alan Starkweather's historical display will focus on "Recreation in Pembroke Throughout the Years."

The Dollars for Scholar's activity for the Fifth Year included the popular "Lottery Tree", Picture Thank You - Note Cards & Envelopes, Endowment Funds Literature, Coffee and Cocao and "Oliver Candy Bars" sales.  

The Booth volunteers this year were Katleen and Ken Dethier, Evan Milks, Maura Dibble, Becca Neeland-2013 Rep, Amanda Starczewski-2013 Rep, and Doc Mruczek - President DFS

The "Lottery Tree" winning ticket was purchased by Peg Weissmen, congradulations.
